Job Title: Commercial Locksmith

Job Type: Full-Time (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Salary: $20 - $50 /hr depending on experience

Job Summary:

Join our team at L.P. Security Maintenance Corp. as a Commercial Locksmith and utilize your expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, doors, and security systems. You'll respond to service calls promptly, troubleshoot lock-related issues, and provide efficient solutions. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and have a passion for ensuring the security of commercial properties, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of locks, doors, and security systems for commercial clients.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to troubleshoot and resolve lock-related issues.
• Cut keys and rekey locks as needed for commercial clients.
• Install and configure keyless entry and keypad locks to enhance security measures.
• Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking mechanisms and systems to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inventory of parts and equipment used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a commercial locksmith, proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, doors, and security systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Drug Screening before employment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in locksmithing.

Proficiencies:

• Basic locksmith skills and low-voltage electronic hardware diagnostics.
• Master keying, including high security, I/C, wafer, and padlock systems.
• Experience in all aspects of commercial hardware installation and door/frame installations.
• Basic safe repair and maintenance expertise.
• Familiarity with access control systems and automatic door operator repair and installation is advantageous.
