Lange Companies is currently looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join our Team.

 

As the Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and updating various business information within the Company’s ERP and TMS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key duties include overseeing the setup and maintenance of carrier and customer accounts, verifying and auditing documents, and handling account updates for Customers, Growers, Shippers, and Carriers. The position requires working out of an email inbox and responding to incoming requests within a 15-minute timeframe. Additionally, it involves active monitoring of incoming requests, prioritizing tasks, and resolving data discrepancies quickly and efficiently. Other responsibilities include managing external logistics resources, assisting with quarterly accounts payable/receivable tasks, and handling Certificate of Insurance requests and updates. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Input, verify, update, and manage various business information within the Company’s ERP and TMS databases.
  • Actively monitor incoming requests, respond promptly and effectively prioritize work. 
  • Oversee carrier and customer account setups and updates within the TMS system (Revenova).
  • Handle account setups and updates for Customers, Growers, Shippers, and Carriers in the ERP system (Famous).
  • Review and verify documents and information for accuracy, identify deficiencies or errors, and conduct audits to ensure all necessary details are included. Request any missing or additional information needed for successful setups or updates.
  • Vet and verify external carriers to ensure compliance with Company standards, which may include rejecting requests and informing relevant contacts in the Company.
  • Identify and rectify data deficiencies or errors during reviews quickly and accurately.
  • Organize and store digital copies of data and documents for efficient retrieval.
  • Manage external logistics resources, tools, and subscriptions used by the Company.
  • Assist with quarterly accounts payable/receivable tasks related to Company rebate programs.
  • Manage all Certificate of Insurance requests and updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of general office experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to address customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Experience with TMS/ERP systems, particularly Famous and/or Revenova. (or other Salesforce platforms)
  • Understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency for handling urgent requests.
  • Ability to focus for extended periods while maintaining accuracy and speed.
  • Comfortable asking questions and communicating with Company employees and external contacts.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to follow-through.
  • General technology and computer skills.
