Salary: 151,800 - 253,000 USD per year Requirements:

• I hold a Master's or PhD degree in a relevant STEM field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• I have over 6 years of experience working in data science, data engineering, software engineering, or MLOps.
• I possess more than 6 years of experience in AI/ML algorithm development workflows and data analysis across various data modalities, including NLP, time-series analysis, computer vision, and graph models.
• I have more than 6 years of experience with core programming languages and data science packages, including Python, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Jupyter.
• I have at least 6 years of experience with traditional ML and deep learning techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, and GANs, as well as model tuning and validation of developed algorithms.
• I have over 4 years of experience managing teams and delivering complex, critical projects.
• I am able to live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte's consulting offices.
• I am willing to travel, averaging 10%, based on the work I do and the clients and industries I serve.

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Science Manager at SFL Scientific, I will manage a team of developers during project execution and R&D efforts.
• I will be responsible for the technical direction of client engagements, defining project strategy, communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and leading solution development to address our clients' use cases.
• I will serve as the technical lead on projects, driving technical strategy, roadmaps, and prototyping of AI/ML solutions to meet each client's unique requirements.
• I will engage and guide clients independently in AI strategy and adoption, understand organizational needs, perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), build and validate models, and deploy models into production.
• I will lead an interdisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to achieve technical delivery objectives and ensure real-world performance.
• I will research and adopt industry best practices for model validation and support best delivery practices, including validation, code review, unit testing, and integration testing.
• I will present findings and solution infrastructure to key stakeholders, including aspects like hardware, software, cloud, and deployment.
• I will mentor, motivate, and coach junior data scientists in technical best practices and inspire their professional development.

The wage range for this role is $151,800 to $253,000, taking into account a wide range of factors. I may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to its governing rules.
