Description We are seeking seeking a software engineer to collaborate with a Government customer to migrate operational mission capabilities from on-premises hardware to AWS Cloud compute infrastructure. The candidate must have demonstrable experience assisting in the implementation and support of large-scale cloud systems and services on AWS, from application rehosting to Cloud Native re-architecting. Core technologies and experience include microservices, containers, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps practices. AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred but not required for an experienced candidate.
Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required skills:
- Must have demonstrable experience assisting in the implementation and support of large-scale cloud systems and services on AWS, from application rehosting to Cloud Native re-architecting.
- Experience in Core technologies to include microservices, containers, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps practices
- Experience in design, installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems and services for USIC customer
Desired skills:
- Experience with USAIC AWS Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience in collaborating with teams on planning, architecture, design and implementation of AWS well-architected solutions
- Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders on System Security Plans (SSP), accreditation, and cot optimization
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification preferred but not required with experience
- Experience with AWS managed services, Cloud frameworks, (e.g. Kubernets, Istio, Terraform, GitLab)

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $223,000 - $245,000.00
