Responsibilities

• Engagement: walks, outings, games, crafts, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and conversation
• Light House Keeping: laundry, vacuuming, dishes, dusting, trash removal, and checking mail
• Personal Care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assist with transportation to doctor’s appointments

Credentials Needed to Schedule an Interview

• Drivers License
• Auto Ins
• CPR Card
• TB with in the last year (or TB X-Ray with in last 5 years)
• AHCA background check
• HHA Certificate and/or CNA License

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Parkinson's Foundation CEU (we will provide this online class to you, no cost to you, if you do not have it yet)
