Salary: $126,100 - 227,950 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Cybersecurity, specifically in an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) role. Additional years of experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold an active DoD TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. Experience in a Software Integration Laboratory (SIL) environment is required, along with a strong understanding of information security and cybersecurity policies. We expect proficiency in writing Risk Management Framework (RMF) package documentation, a Security 8570 certification, and familiarity with security controls as outlined in NIST SP 800-53A. Experience traversing Linux directories and executing scripts, performing risk assessments, documenting system deficiencies, and recommending remediation solutions is essential. Familiarity with automated vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus or SCAP, as well as involvement in security evaluations, is preferred. Candidates should be eager to learn new technologies and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

• As part of our Security Team, I will require you to collaborate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and System Owners to maintain compliance with government regulations and frameworks relevant to SP NIST 800-53A. You will assist in developing RMF security package documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), standard operating procedures, and security control assessments. Your duties will include establishing and enforcing security policies, conducting security audits, and performing risk and vulnerability assessments of both Windows and Linux systems. You will promote security awareness and communicate any deficiencies to the ISSM and Information System Officers (ISOs). Additionally, I will ask you to assess security incidents, determine their impact, and implement corrective measures while ensuring the strict application of cybersecurity principles in all IT services delivered.
