We are seeking a Medical Office Coordinator/MA who will be responsible for patient care and administrative support duties at the DPW Wellness Center located in New York City, New York. Interact with patients, outside providers and third-party carriers with regard to patient-related issues. Work with others in a team environment. Provide administrative support for medical matters on behalf of advanced practice clinician as well as general administrative support. Functions under the supervision of the Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) in the clinic and will perform various clinical and administrative tasks as directed. Assist health care team with specific treatments and/or procedures. Monitor and maintain the clinic environment in an orderly and adequately stocked manner. Provide prompt, courteous and professional attention to the needs and requests of all patients and clients.
