Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals through purchasing or refinancing their homes. You will provide tailored loan solutions, conduct underwriting assessments, and ensure an outstanding experience for clients throughout the entire lending process. This hybrid position offers flexibility, including the option to work remotely at times.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand clients' needs and recommend loan options for purchasing or refinancing homes.
Perform thorough underwriting assessments to ensure loan eligibility.
Offer guidance and support to clients, providing clear, timely updates to make the lending process as smooth and transparent as possible.
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with industry standards and financial regulations.
Work closely with the team to resolve any client concerns and meet deadlines.
Stay informed about the latest mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or in the mortgage industry.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with clients.
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
