We are seeking a talented Principal UI/UX Designer to lead the design and development of innovative digital user experiences for our medical devices. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that enhance patient outcomes and meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate mobile and web applications exceeding user expectations.
• Create mockups and prototypes for research and usability testing.
• Engage directly with users through research techniques to uncover needs and behaviors.
• Develop user interface and experience designs for products and services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, providing thought leadership and advocacy for users.
• Apply human-centered design principles considering technology and architecture.
• Participate in research and translate insights into design concepts.
• Lead design reviews and collaborative sessions.
• Ensure usability standards are integrated into product development.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining a design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro, Adobe Suite, Sketch.
• Experience with human-centered research, personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing.
• Experience in Agile development teams.
• Design experience for mobile and web applications, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
• Knowledge of iOS design principles and best practices.

Additional Information

Salary range: $156,900—$212,300 USD, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, HSA contributions, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and more. We are an equal opportunity employer and participate in E-Verify.
