Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land . The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis . These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Position Overview: The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining hotel reservations, ensuring accuracy in bookings, and optimizing revenue opportunities. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement, this role directly supports the resort’s financial goals and contributes to Hyatt’s commitment to excellence in service.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reservations needs for the resort in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies and Brand Standards.
  • Optimize room inventory across various distribution channels including OTAs, direct bookings, and travel partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales, events, and front office teams to ensure operational alignment and smooth guest experiences.
  • Process group turnovers, including generating and handling PM codes for billing and accounting.
  • Track group pickup and cutoff dates.
  • Enter, update, and maintain group rooming lists and manage booking link activations.
  • Monitor and process group commissions on a weekly basis.
  • Provide customer service by answering emails related to reservations, modifications, and cancellations in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Hyatt experience required
  • 6 months in hotel reservations, front desk, or related hospitality roles
  • Proficiency in Opera and Reserve
  • Strong attention to detail in managing complex reservations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal, guest, and vendor interactions
  • Ability to resolve booking issues and discrepancies efficiently
  • Must be dynamic in managing many different stakeholders and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
