The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At NIKE, Inc. it’s about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.

We are looking for an experienced leader of Finance Shared Services at scale, ideally in a Fortune 500 environment leveraging third party offshoring. This is a high-impact opportunity with significant visibility across the Finance executive leadership team and stakeholders across the Nike enterprise.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related business field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience or training.

  • 15+ years of experience with Finance, Accounting and/or Transformational capabilities, inclusive of 3+ years experience in leading Finance Shared Services Operations, including:

    • Prior experience establishing and/or managing a large-scale relationship with an MSP

    • Established and ran governance for Functional or Enterprise-wide programs

    • Firsthand knowledge of risks and issues that impact Shared Delivery and an MSP relationship

    • Deep understanding of impact to Enterprise Value as SLAs and KPIs are adjusted

    • Understanding of ways of working between GPOs, Functional Leaders, and MSP

  • Finance expertise inclusive of processes and accounting policies, GAAP, and statutory accounting principles.

  • Build strong internal and external networks with a diverse set of stakeholders, peers, and partners to deliver Enterprise priorities.

  • Strong people management skills and leadership experience.

  • Experience in managing a third party managed service provider, governing service levels, and a sound understanding of risks and issues that impact global service delivery and operations.

  • Experience in ongoing process optimization and continuous improvement; driving better outcomes leveraging continuous excellence methodologies.

  • Proven ability and track record of translating broad goals into achievable steps and is customer focused and goal driven.  Solves complex, cross-functional challenges and issues efficiently and effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Responsible for daily operations of Finance Shared Services (R2R, P2P, and O2C) across the globe and for both Nike and Converse

  • Run weekly/monthly/quarterly governance process to ensure accurate and timely service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Foster strong relationships and own communication channels with key business stakeholders, Nike Finance Functions, Finance Shared Services Organization, and MSP; promote transparency and open lines of communication

  • Coordinate process optimization opportunities identified by Global Process Owners (GPOs) that require service transformation from MSP

  • Responsible for implementing continuous excellence practices required to optimize Shared Delivery (SLAs, Key Performance Indicators, reporting, billing and chargeback disciplines, etc.)

  • Review and report out on SLAs and KPIs on a regular basis to ensure contract requirements are being met

  • Manage exception-based problem resolution, guidance, and escalation

  • Own the strategy and actions required to ensure a successful partnership, aligned culture, and common talent practices

  • Coordinate systems access for MSP and partner with Nike Technology to resolve data and technology incidents impacting service levels
