Job Description

Position Overview:

As our Sr. HR Generalist , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Employee Relations team, handling day-to-day HR operations, and providing guidance to managers and employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations to ensure fair, equitable, and policy-compliant outcomes in accordance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Manager Coaching & Support: Build strong relationships with managers, providing guidance on performance management, hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Employee Relations Administration: Facilitate and oversee matters such as performance management meetings, counseling, grievances, leaves of absence, accommodations, and exit interviews.
  • HR Compliance & Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, compensation, and workers’ compensation, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Talent Acquisition Assistance: Conduct limited applicant screening, administer pre-employment tests, and collaborate with the recruiting team to assess candidate suitability.
  • HRIS Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring compliance with department protocols.
  • Employee Transfers & Onboarding: Administer the employee transfer process by coordinating communications between employees, managers, and HR teams. Ensure seamless onboarding by coordinating new hire expectations meetings and tracking checklist completion.
  • Personnel File Management: Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring timely and accurate document processing.
  • Performance Documentation: Draft and issue performance-related documentation, including memorandums and written warnings.
  • HR Program Participation: Engage in employee relations activities such as new hire orientation, benefits meetings, and company events.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in a multicultural work environment and ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, exempt position offering competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00/YR
