NHTI – Concord’s Community College
Position Type: Part-time, adjunct
Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)

Position Overview:

At NHTI – Concord’s Community College, we are dedicated to exploring the complexities of human thought, behavior, and emotion. Our Psychology program equips students with critical thinking skills, research-based knowledge, and real-world applications that prepare them for careers in mental health, social services, education, and beyond.

We are building a talent pool of passionate educators to teach courses that engage students in the study of human behavior, cognitive processes, and psychological theories. As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire students, foster meaningful discussions, and apply psychological concepts to everyday life and professional settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: 60 Credit hour Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience and familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred.
  • Residency: Must reside in NH

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development: Stay current in your profession and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
