Job Description:

Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Data Steward to join our team.
  
  

• This role will focus on ensuring the quality and integrity of organizational data by analyzing datasets across GCP, Azure, and SAP BW platforms.
  
  

• You will establish Data Stewardship activities including analyzing requirements, creating specification documents, coordinating with implementation teams, performing data validations, and supporting UATs.
  
  

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and extensive experience with SAP BW and SQL are essential for success in this position.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Analyze SAP BW data models to derive business insights.
  
  

• Validate Azure Lakehouse database views and create data integration mapping specifications.
  
  

• Ensure adherence to Crop Science warehouse data governance guidelines.
  
  

• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify anomalies and inconsistencies.
  
  

• Assist in development activities, perform data validations, and support production deployments in GCP.
  
  

• Prepare business test scenarios and UAT test cases.
  
  

• Support development, platform, and UAT teams with requirement clarifications.
  
  

• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  
  

• Stay informed on industry trends and database best practices.
  
  

• Utilize SQL expertise for hands-on data validation in GCP.
  
  

Requirements

Primary Skills:  

• Data Visualization, SAP BW, GCP BigQuery
  
  

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  
  

• Proficiency in data analysis and profiling techniques.
  
  

• Knowledge of data quality management concepts and tools.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with SAP BW; GCP BigQuery experience preferred.
  
  

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
  
  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
  

• Attention to detail with a structured work approach.
  
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
